1. Mr. Lam Dinh Thang - Director:

1.1 Responsible for leading, directing and administering the activities of the Department of Information and Communications; advise and assist the City People's Committee in performing the state management of the information and communication industry in the City in accordance with the provisions of law and as assigned and authorized by the People's Committee and the Chairman of the City People's Committee.

1.2 Directly in charge of the following tasks:

- The organization of the apparatus and management of civil servants, public employees and employees at the Department;

- Administrative reform work;

- Planning and financial work;

- Inspection work;

- Legal work, propagation and dissemination of laws within agencies;

- Thrift and anti-corruption practices; implementation of democracy in operation;

- Journalistic work (including print, online, radio, television, news bulletins);

- Publishing, printing and distributing;

- Foreign and basic information work;

- Advertising work in the network environment, in newspapers and publications;

- Electronic information work;

- Content work on the internet;

- Integrated advertising on postal, telecommunications and information technology products and services;

- Information and propaganda work of the Department's activities (its general website and other forms of propaganda);

- Other work assigned by the City People's Committee and the Ministry of Information and Communications.

1.3 Department of Information and Communications account holders.

1.4 Directly direct: Department Office, Department Inspectorate, Planning-Finance Department, Press Department, Publishing, Printing and Distribution Department, Electronic Information Department, City Press Center.

1.5 State management of the In Association, the City Journalists Association.

1.6 Participate in Steering Committees, Professional Councils of the City and the Ministry of Information and Communications as assigned by competent authorities.

2. Ms. Vo Thi Trung Trinh - Deputy Director:

2.1 Assist the Director of the Department in directing some aspects of work and take responsibility before the Director of the Department and before law for the assigned tasks:

- Information technology application;

- Information technology industry work;

- Direct, monitor and implement administrative reform work of the Department;

- Information security and network security;

- Cooperating with provinces and cities in the field of information and communication;

- Assist the Director in monitoring inspection and inspection related to the field in charge;

- Directing the implementation of the Digital Transformation Program and the Project on Building to become a Smart City of Ho Chi Minh City, the Program to support the development of enterprises and products of Industry – Information Technology;

- Other contents as directed by the Director of the Department.

2.2 Direct the Management Board of investment projects under the Smart City Project;

2.3 Directly direct the Information Technology Department, City Information and Communication Technology Center;

2.4 State management of Ho Chi Minh City Informatics Association;

2.5 In charge of civil advocacy of the government.

2.6 Participation in Steering Committees and Professional Councils of the City

and the Ministry of Information and Communications under the direction of the City People's Committee and assigned by the Director.

3. Mr. Vo Minh Thanh - Deputy Director:

3.1. Assist the Director of the Department in directing a number of aspects of work and take responsibility before the Director of the Department and before law for the assigned tasks:

- Postal, telecommunications, radio frequency work;

- Ensuring communication for flood and storm prevention and disaster mitigation;

- Online game management;

- The training of information and communication human resources;

- Direct the implementation of the Telecommunications Infrastructure Development Project and Digital Infrastructure Development Plan in Ho Chi Minh City, the Program on research and development of artificial intelligence applications.

- Assist the Director of the Department in supervising the inspection and inspection work related to the field in charge;

- Other contents as directed by the Director of the Department.
